Ryan Rigau
Ryan Rigau is the owner of Athlete Retreat, a premier training facility dedicated to enhancing athletic performance and recovery. With a passion for fitness and a commitment to providing top-notch services, Ryan ensures that Athlete Retreat offers state-of-the-art equipment, expert coaching, and a supportive environment for athletes of all levels..

General Manager
Todd Silverman
Todd Silverman played 3rd base at Gaither High School and Hillsborough Community College. He then played 2nd base for the University of Central Florida his junior year and then the University of South Florida his senior year. During the 2017 professional season, the Tampa Bay Rays brought Todd in to help their hitting staff. Todd got to work with some of the Rays’ top hitters such as Evan Longoria.

Sports Performance Trainer
Jack Copley
I’m Jack Copley, I am a former division one baseball player, and now I own my own sports performance training company working out of Athlete Retreat. I am a big proponent of functional training that caters to all athletes. I focus on explosiveness, flexibility/mobility, joint strength, and injury prevention. I also give infield and hitting lessons as a former gold glove winner at third base on the collegiate level.
Jack Copley is the Sports Performance Trainer at Athlete Retreat, specializing in enhancing athletic performance through tailored training programs. With a deep understanding of sports science and a commitment to helping athletes reach their full potential, Jack provides expert guidance and personalized coaching. His dedication to excellence ensures that every athlete at Athlete Retreat receives the best possible support and training.

Willie Collazo
Willie Collazo is a highly respected figure in the baseball world, known for his remarkable MLB playing career and his impactful coaching expertise. Born and raised in a baseball-centric environment, Willie's journey in the sport began early, showcasing his exceptional pitching skills on various levels of competition. Transitioning seamlessly into coaching after his playing days, Willie's leadership, work ethic, and commitment to player development have earned him widespread admiration. Beyond the diamond, Willie is deeply involved in his community, leveraging the power of baseball to inspire and uplift others with his camp called "Homeschool Baseball". With his unwavering passion for the game and dedication to excellence,
Willie Collazo continues to make a lasting impact both on and off the field.

Physical Therapist
DR. Clancy Brown
Meet Dr. Clancy, a Doctor of Physical Therapy who obtained his degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2011. Prior to moving to the Odessa area he owned and operated a thriving functional fitness studio in Colorado, concurrently running his physical therapy practice within the same space.
Dr. Clancy's passion lies in supporting athletes of all calibers, and helping them navigate injuries and persistent conditions that impede their performance. He specializes in movement analysis and optimization, dry needling, cupping, and other manual techniques to improve physical performance.
Currently, Dr. Clancy offers specialized physical therapy services and recovery sessions at Athlete Retreat, along with providing mobile services throughout t he Odessa area.

Softball Coach
Avery Derenches
Avery is a Junior at Steinbrenner Highschool, who started with an early burning passion for softball at 7, She was a two year starter and made the second Western Conference team and reached the regional finals. Often at first base or outfield, Avery loves what she does, and wants to teach others to push them beyond what they think they're capable of.

Baseball Coach
Scott Pittenger
Scott Pittenger brings ten years of experience in amateur and travel baseball to his role, notably serving as Vice President of Scoutcast for five years. Scoutcast is recognized for producing top-tier semi-automated recruiting videos integrated with FlightScope data, catering to a wide array of national organizations. Prior to this, Pittenger coached college baseball at Florida International University and Chipola Junior College, contributing to Chipola's No. 1 ranked team in 2014 and earning Coach of the Year honors. Following his coaching career, he transitioned into scouting Prospect Wire tournaments and later became the National Scouting Director for PW before co-founding Scoutcast in 2018 with Matt Bomeisl. Pittenger's playing career includes four years at Northwestern State University, where he holds the record for most games played, and a season as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Orioles. Now the founder and CEO of PATH Baseball. Outside of baseball, Scott resides in Trinity, Florida, with his wife Amanda and their two daughters.

Kevin Quackenbush
Kevin, a distinguished former professional baseball player with an impressive 13-year career, spent six seasons in Major League Baseball, earning all-star accolades across various levels of professional play. A Tampa native, he graduated from Jesuit High School and the University of South Florida, where he achieved All-American honors in his senior year. Kevin is now enthusiastically embarking on a new chapter, dedicated to helping young athletes achieve their baseball aspirations.

Athletic Trainer
Kohl Robertson
Kohl Robertson an athletic trainer who focuses on hitting/fielding lessons and sports performance. With experience playing Football and Baseball at sickles high school, continuing his career starting at FSW with a medical redshirt, he then transferred to Pasco Hernando State college with a very solid season batting .410 with 10hrs and 15 extra base hits, finished his career at University of South Florida where he came to the conclusion he wanted to focus on becoming a trainer which he had done in recent years. Kohl struggled with injuries and figured it would be best to bring his knowledge into the gym industry focusing on helping the people succeed their dreams.

Marcus Guzman
Marcus Guzman brings over six years of professional baseball experience to his current role as a skills coach. His journey includes stints at St. Pete College and Southeastern University Fire, as well as playing for teams like Normal Cornbelters, Brujos de Guayama in Puerto Rico, New Jersey Jackels in the Canam League, and Patrulleros San Sebastián in Puerto Rico from 2020 to 2024. Transitioning from professional baseball, Marcus is now dedicated to helping individuals improve various aspects of their lives through personalized one-on-one training. His coaching focuses on enhancing speed, agility, coordination, strength, endurance, hitting skills, and mental game preparation. Beyond sports, Marcus is passionate about empowering others to excel in lifestyle, relationships, and career development, making a significant impact on those he mentors.

Joe Scanell
With over 30 years of experience, I'm a seasoned hitting and pitching instructor from Syracuse, NY. I've successfully coached players who have transitioned to college play and led teams to numerous championships. Currently, I'm part of the coaching staff for a USA contingent heading to the Latin American Baseball Championships. My passion lies in one-on-one training, focusing on both skill development and mental preparedness. I'm dedicated to providing a supportive environment for players to grow and succeed, and I look forward to helping your son or daughter reach their full potential in the game.
